Bay City's Invest in Wellness event is put on by Wellness Matagorda Inc., a non profit entity with a goal to improve the health of their community. The mission of Wellness Matagorda Inc. is to facilitate coordination of education, health and fitness into a community based program. Team members are Bay City Independent School District, City of Bay City, Matagorda County Hospital District, Matagorda County and many volunteers.
